About the author
Cynthia Dreeman Meyer is the author of "Gregory the Spider: Romping through the Year" and "Merry Stirring Mice: Santa's Secret Team." She is also the Director/Teacher at Music Together of Chester, the owner of Sweet Dreems Children's Books, and a retired attorney. Fifteen years ago, Meyer founded her hometown Senior Resource Center's Christmas Tree Festival, an eight-day event held annually during the first week of December: While much of that work involves event planning, Meyer's favorite part is designing Christmas trees, and it is that activity that inspired "Merry Stirring Mice," and led to her becoming an award-winning decorator. In 2016, Meyer earned her black-belt in Isshinryu Karate. She lives in Chester with her husband Ken and their pups, Gracie and Scout. Their three sons, Max, Kenny, and Gregory are all out in the world, making it a better place.
