Overview
Gregor felt that if there were such a thing as karma, he had it-"bad karma". Even as an infant, everywhere he turned-people, pets. family died...often in the most horrific way imaginable. The heinous and frightening serial killer known only as Green Man was brazenly and shamelessly responsible. After a lifetime of running, Gregor had decided that he needed peace. He needed closure. He needed to finally, once and for all, to ensure that Green Man must pay!
Description
After numerous complaints from my readers (most audibly and notably, my Aunt Janet), I have been strongly urged to write a follow-up to G:THE STORY OF A MADMAN. Gregor's fans demanded more. In the first work, I have been accused of "leaving my readers hanging"; which of course was very much my intention. For those of you not familiar with G: THE STORY OF A MADMAN , I've pulled a snippet of the promo ad. "If there were such a thing as karma, Gregor would say he had it—bad karma. His mental illness has been present practically since birth. During early childhood, Gregor already knows he's different. As he grows to be an adult, those differences become violently apparent. He is a monster born, not made, and his extremely disturbed mental state is a thing of nightmares. Told in a series of chilling vignettes, G: The Story of a Madman is a character study of one man's descent into pure evil. It begins with "Baby G," a tale of Gregor's upbringing. A few years later, run into him again in "Friends." Next, follow Gregor to New York City as he escapes his history to start anew in the Big Apple. Finally, the "Psycho G" series takes readers deepest into the darkness of this antihero." "For author Bill Evans, writing is the priceless ability to show the things we dare not think or say in real life. It is a pure art form that reflects the truth of the human condition, no matter how dark and deviant. The stories in G do not pull any punches as Gregor grows to become the monster in all our minds and openly portrays the horrors we refuse to accept." If you've not read "G", that's perfectly fine. GREEN MAN MUST PAY, was written as a "stand alone" piece to be judged by the readers on its own merits. Both works are available via my website at: www.billevansbooks.com or through Amazon.com or Barnes&Noble.com To obtain additional copies of this and other great Horror related gems, please visit the industry leader in innovative horror: www.Hellboundbookspublishing.com Sit back, relax, and enjoy our "protagonist" Gregor, as he attempts to thwart the sinister efforts of the sinisterly heinous (and perhaps alter ego?) criminal known as Green Man. Oh yeah-one more thing. When you sleep tonight, it's probably a good idea to leave the lights on. Hauntingly yours, Bill Evans
About the author
BIOGRAPHY Start with the psychological of mind . Throw in the macabre. Add a dash of the occult, a twist of terror, and a smattering of humor; and thematically, you have a summation of the works of Bill Evans. The author of THE PREPARATION and G…THE STORY OF A MADMAN; Mr. Evans grew up a huge fan of Hitchcock, Karloff, Vincent Price, and "Chilly Billy" Cardille. As a 10-year-old, the boy would be awakened at midnight by his doting father. Awaiting the child in the t.v. room was a carefully prepared 'Chiller Bag', full of carefully assembled treats. Squealing with delight, the young Billy Evans would position himself squarely in front of the 12-inch screen, armed with his delicious snacks. Both father and son guffawed loudly at the antics of host Chilly Billy and the Chiller Theater cast, during the intervals of the horror film B movie double feature. This routine was a Saturday night Evans family tradition for many years. The films, as well as the whole Chiller Theater 'experience', left an indelible impression upon the youngster. Academically, Mr. Evans is a graduate of Edinboro University of PA. (English, 1977); and of the University of Pittsburgh (Philosophy 1991). Mr. Evans was also an instructor for 5 years at the now defunct Academy of Court Reporting in downtown Pittsburgh, Pa. He specialized in the instruction of Short Story, Speech Communications, and Critical Thinking. Mr. Evans is also an accomplished public speaker. He has been awarded the status of Competent Toastmaster (CTM) and Advanced Toastmaster (ATM) by Toastmasters International. A Flash Fiction piece written in 2016 by Mr. Evans titled HELL, was featured in vol 4 on decasp.com. Future projects include a short story anthology, presently in the works, with a projected release in Summer 2020
