Overview
Dixie Shoopman remembers the gardens which have shaped her life, from her early childhood to recent times.
Description
In this stunning collection of memories, Dixie Shoopman recounts moments she has spent in and around gardens, learning not only about growing vegetables and flowers, but also about stories, love, and life. Through snapping of beans to building a cathedral of plants, we can hear the magical rhythms that come with digging in the soil, alone or not. This beautiful book reminds us of the treasures we store in our memories, and the importance of putting those memories into the hands of the people who love us.
