Overview
This book tells of two journeys by two members of the same family, through the landscape of the Civil War, one during the heart of the war, and the second, one hundred fifty years later.
Description
William D. Hall served as a Union soldier from August 1862 through June 1865 and left a detailed record of where he went and the battles he was in. Over the past two years, Dale, his great grandson, followed his journey, visiting eleven states, seeing for himself his great-grandfather's path as he marched with Sherman through Georgia, the Carolinas and Virginia. William ended his tour of duty in Washington DC at the two day Review of Troops that marked the end of the Civil War. Dale's trip was a crash course in the events of the Civil War that revealed the bravery and tenacity of the soldiers on both sides of the conflict.
About the author

Danelle is an Okie by birth and by now a Coloradan by choice and spends an inordinate amount of time in front of her computer, writing. She is currently at work on her next novel, THE HOUSE ON ALDERSON ROAD.
