It is not only geared towards athletes, but anyone that goes through obstacles in this life. You will see the progression of the athlete before accepting what she perceived to be her "God intended path" and how it changed her perspective when she finally came to terms with the cards that she was dealt. How she allowed the obstacles to produce perseverance by not negating the lessons that were being taught in what at the time seemed to be failures or disappointments. Because of these lessons, she is now equipped for any battle or fight. You will also see how having God at her side made the process much easier, because God supplied her with everything that she needed . Whether it was hope, strength, or peace to name a few. Kai Selvon is a Trinidad and Tobago national track athlete that has represented her country on every amateur and senior level. As of this writing she has been an athlete for nineteen years. She is a two time Olympian, She is Trinidad and Tobago's 200-meters junior record holder (still standing), A SEC indoor Champion, A World Relay bronze medalist, and a member of Trinidad and Tobago's relay record teams for the 4 x 100-meters, 4 x 200-meters, and 4 x 400-meters, to name a few. This athlete,now author quickly learned what it meant to endure, persevere, and trust. Having big dreams to become an Olympic medalist, Kai never imagined hat the experiences that awaited her would test her will, endurance,faith, and character. The hopes of this book is that someone reads it and feels like if Kai can make it, they can too.
