Fio Makes a Difference

Fio the Flamingo and his friends, Joel and Fleur, are reporters for the Avian Gazette. In this exciting adventure they travel to the Avian Games to cover the competitions. However, when they arrive at the venue, they learn that the games will be canceled due to the debris in the water and on the beach. Resourceful as ever, can Fio conceive of a way to clean up the beach so that the games can be played?

"Fio Makes a Difference and So Can You!" is a lovely story about three friends who recruit volunteers to help them clean up the environment. Working together, they restore the beach and water so it is free of debris and safe for the Avian Games. Accompanied by charming illustrations and excellent imagery, the readers are drawn into the story and realize that they too can make a difference!
