Ultimately, it is purposed to encourage you to approach the exploration of life with a newfound strength and fortitude.

Description

After having ten miscarriages, multiple surgeries to correct fertility issues, a failed business, failed marriage and a laundry list of upsets, I begged God to just let me die! My father and closest friends have already crossed over so I felt I would be in good company! I sat listening to motivational speakers, and left more discouraged. I sat through service after service and left hungry and still frustrated. It wasn't until I had a conversation with a woman who mothers a special needs child that I learned the formula to turning my life around. GRATITUDE! Finding one thing each day literally created a beautiful cycle of moments of gratefulness. Each day, as you read through the pages of this gratitude journal, I challenge you to look at your life as a gift. Take a moment to unwrap one gift (experience) given to you and become so overcome with appreciation that it begins to cause the negative to fade to black. What you face is real; I know it because I've seen it. The pain that you've suffered is not a figment of your imagination; I won't insult your intelligence or play on your emotions in saying that it is. I won't fill these pages with empty rhetoric and religious mum- bo-jumbo and church cliché. I have, however, shared my journey of gratitude from brokenness to wholeness, and after, I simply ask, how you can find a "thank you" in your own life's experience. After reading each day, take a moment to reflect, center your- self, and then begin to therapeutically write what is in your heart. These next thirty-one days will be a journey of thanking your way back to whole. The broken pieces will finally come together and yesterday's pain will be a tool for today's moments of gratitude. Every day you'll have a moment to read one of my experiences, hopefully, gain some insight, and then I've added a simple prayer that will help you navigate your journey. After praying, take a moment to answer the questions and journal your own thoughts. Now that you know a little about the book, let's enjoy your journey to healing.
