Hallmark lost her business when she was forced to make her mother a birthday card after spending the money her father gave for it. Fortunately, her creativity turned out to be beautiful prose and a new way of showing her love.
Years later she submitted an article to the local weekly edition of The Gardena Valley News where she was hired to write human-interest stories. Booker knew these stories added good news to the morning paper, but thought they would be more exciting if they were altered to fit her imagination; unable to stray from the truth, she used her talent, skill and determination to write, Family Secrets.
An avid reader, she’d find interesting books, but as a Christian, she constantly had to stumble over four-letter words and graphic sexual content. Family Secrets caters to people who are sensitive to vulgarity and would like to enjoy a wholesome adult novel that won’t leave you feeling guilty on Sunday morning. Compelled to continue the saga, she completed the sequel More Secrets, in 2010 and is currently working on its continuation called, Secret Sins. (Cleanwriters.com)
Booker has a BS in Business Communications and has owned a successful business, Your Mobile Notary since 2004. She enjoys fitness and eating clean, it is her desire to lead people to healthier lifestyles. She also loves music, movies, entertaining, and the beach.
