Continuing after the events of Braving the Storm, Steve and the rest of his cabin mates adjust to living without power and working with the local community to survive while others want to take what is not theirs.

Jennifer Brooks was born and raised in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is the author of Braving the Storm and Facing the Storm, a dystopian series set in Pittsburgh. Both novels were Finalists in the 2016 and 2017 The Authors' Zone Awards, respectively.
