Overview
What if the mysteries of your life began before you were born, and reach into your future? Like echoes reverberating from lifetimes ago controlling their present lives and directing their futures, a female artist, Carson, and an architect and ranch manager, Cody, are haunted by their pasts. What makes their lives worth living? How do they move forward after losses so devastating they believe they'll never love again? The unexpected power and beauty of their connection is as spectacular as the landscapes they walk through in Montana and Wyoming, but they are just as fated, unpredictable and complex. They struggle with fulfilling their original bond or running away from it, from the reasons they were born to begin with. Even with best intentions, nothing is guaranteed except one thing, and only they can discover it.
Description
What if the mysteries of your life began before you were born, and reach into your future? Like echoes reverberating from lifetimes ago controlling their present lives and directing their futures, Carson and Cody are haunted by their pasts. What makes their lives worth living? How do they move forward after losses so devastating they believe they'll never love again? Carson, an artist from Santa Fe moves to Montana to begin a new life. But an unexpected encounter brings her into conflict with Cody, an architect and ranch manager from Wyoming. The immediate power and beauty of their connection is as spectacular as the landscapes they walk through, but just as fated, unpredictable and complex. She wants love, relationship and change. Cody wants to be alone while mired in sadness and guilt, feeling unworthy of love due to past tragedies. Facing life and death issues, when all else fails, they try to unravel their life's mysteries using mystical, spiritual and past life clues of murder, abandonment, love, family, emotional pain and guilt. There is more at stake than a bond of love for them and others in their lives. Their seemingly unresolvable conflicts span geography and time, from the tangible beauty of Wyoming and Montana through an elusive journey echoing over hundreds of years and two continents. Will they fulfill their original fated bond or run away, devastated by the reasons they were born to begin with? Even with best intentions, nothing is guaranteed except one thing, and only they can discover it.
About the author
N. Christine Samuelson writes about the eternal bonds of love that transform lives and transcend death. Her novels reflect the challenges, fears and conflicts, tragedies and victories that manifest through time and a powerful connection of love. Her storylines are realistic but always laced with a touch of mysticism, mystery and suspense. From living in 14 cities in 10 states, with years of formal and self-taught education through three different careers, she's acquired a wealth of personal, professional, and life experiences which inspire the diverse settings, characters, and authentic storylines of her novels. Currently living in coastal South Carolina, she finds the sea to be a constant source of inspiration and hopes readers of her books will be inspired to look at life and love through a different lens, expand their horizons, and learn and enrich different aspects of their lives.
