About the author

Sandra D. Hodge-Hampton is an award winning writer/director/producer. She directed the feature film theTRUTHthePAINtheSACRIFICE: an actor's reality which won BEST DOCUMENTARY at the Houston International Film Festival and BEST DIRECTING in a Documentary at the Hollywood & Vine Film Festival. She has written several original screenplays, plays and shorts for her company, Glory Visionworks, Inc., and for other independent producers all over the country. As a production professional Sandra has worked on such prestigious projects as: The Walking Dead, The Matrix, Lion In Winter (on Broadway), and Smokey Joe's Café (on Broadway) just to name a few. As an independent Producer-Executive Producer Hodge-Hampton shepherded her first feature film from its world premiere at the American Film Institute's (AFI)/Los Angeles International Film Festival to the AFI's Independent Film Retrospective at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Her first short film was chosen for an exclusive screening at the Walter Reade Theater at Lincoln Center.
