Benchi Hudson is a native of South Carolina and a retired executive manager from a state agency. She loves to read and write and has penned many short stories she plans to publish. "Champagne and Truffles: For the Love of Tess" is her debut publication. Benchi is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She also enjoys membership in a book club with other avid readers who have become good friends. They look forward to getting together for outings, talking about anything, and discussing the selected book of the month. In addition to reading and writing, she loves to quilt and bake. Benchi resides in the Lowcountry of SC with her husband, also retired, and they love to travel and spend time with their grandchildren, when time permits.
