A story filled with adventure, history and the American Dream. Aaron is a successful young engineer who has become frustrated with life on the fast track. He sets out on an adventure to discover the roots of America, and in the process reconnects with Corey, a college friend who he has never been able to forget. Corey's life has been filled with one failure after another. She has long since given up when Aaron shows up at her front door. Together they discover the highpoints that built America and develop a connection that has haunted both of them for ten years. This story originally started as a short story that inspired the Shelley Laine song: Born Again American.

With degrees in Engineering, Physics and Law, Gorton is an innovator who has built several companies, taught college courses and worked in corporate America. With Born Again American, he now has three published works with two more on the way. Watch soon for a scientific analysis of global warming, followed by a thrilling SciFi adventure. Gorton considers himself an amateur athlete who believes in setting goals; just because they are hard. He is a mountain climber with over 50 summits, a runner with 17 marathons, and a bicyclist who has ridden the highest passes in north America. He enjoys spending time with family, studying history or science, and writing books. Gorton believes it is critical for successful people to spend time inspiring the next generation to continue building the American Dream.
