Overview

Bodhi and….is a tale about a child of light. A fairy from heaven. An autistic little human girl who embarks on a journey of healing. She awakens to see a pod of whales that have chosen to commit suicide over life because of their inability to accept human indifference. She soon finds herself spreading the light of God's love and the result is understanding and healing. Her journey takes her into the throes of the colony collapse syndrome of honey bees, the horror of deforestation, the pollution of Earth's water, and finally, the dark and painful reality of human sorrow, caused by addiction, abandonment, and depression. Through each of these challenges, Bodhi spreads magic and light, and the result is enlightenment, surrender, faith, and healing. Bodhi and….is a heartwarming tale that will reconnect the reader to his/her higher self by focusing on environmental decay, the enlightened mind of the natural world as well as the human condition. The book reminds us of how pure love and light really are, when seen through the eyes of wisdom an innocence.

Description

Bodhi and....is a story inspired by Bodhisattva Kelly, the daughter of Author Edward Kelly. Bodhi was born with Autism and as Edward describes, "she has been perfect since the day she took her first breath. Perfect 24 hours a day. I believe that Bodhi was either sent, or chose, or both, to come into this life to save my soul." Her healing light inspired Edward to write a story, which essentially "wrote itself." The story captures her light in a fictional tale until it reaches the last chapter, "Her Daddy," at which time it takes on a much more non-fiction reality. This is a very stunning book. It offers a larger opportunity of thought in regards to the relationship between humans and nature as well as having the courage to address personal human conditions such as despair, divorce and alcoholism. Within the 40 pages of this book, is a world that will leave the reader truly touched. It is a must read over and over again, as the ending will rarely fail to help the reader shed a tear.
