Anthony McCabe is a budding writer who has it all. He has success, he has happiness, he has money, and he has people who love him. He also has something many others don’t, a terrifying past of abuse, neglect, and the inhuman horror known as religious abuse. Brainwashed as a young teenager by his own family into believing his mother’s body was taken over and possessed by Satan, he was forced to endure over a decade of savage emotional assault, heartache, and the witnessing of the continuous torture of his beloved mother. When a dear friend comes to him in need currently experiencing a similar horror that he had barely survived, Anthony realizes that he must face his past and relive the nightmare that he had suppressed for so long in order to help her.
