Be Patient and Wait

This book is about a little boy named Mikey who was having a difficult time waiting. He had several situations in which he had to wait and became more frustrated as time went by . Mikey was eventually rewarded for not getting upset when he was told he needed to be patient and wait.

Be Patient and wait was designed to teach children that waiting isn't all that bad. The book uses repetitive language which allows children to participate while listening. Each page ends with Mikey's mother reminding him to" Be Patient and Wait" The book comes with questions that help children understand that sometimes there are reasons why they may have to wait.
