Overview
When my Grandson Tanner was younger he used to have a teddy bear as his constant companion. Bob as he was called, was covered in plaid; he had no hair. We would ride in the car with Hayden his Brother, make up poems about Bob and Laugh. This story is intended to help children recognize and hopefully in their own way deal with bullying. B.O.B encounters two types of bullies (Social and Physical) and in the story, and with the help of his Mom, deals with them, as only he can. B.O.B certainly hopes that you will enjoy his story and that life will always go your way.
Description
In the town next to ours there was a little girl who was undergoing cancer treatment. She wore a wig to hide the loss of hair that she was enduring, as part of her cancer treatment. She was about eight years old. One day a couple of Bullies at her school, decided to rip her wig off and expose her for All to see... can you imagine how she felt? This event was highlighted on the local news and it just flat broke my heart. It was at that point that I realized that Bob's story needs to be written and that it needed to address bullying I hope that Bobs story does help children identify and in their own special way overcome the Bullies in their life.
