I would like to clarify who
I am. I have made many mistakes during my lifetime. I have not become a perfect
person since following Jesus, but I have become a student of God's Word, and a
son of the living God because of what Jesus did. I have the desire and vision
to become more like Jesus. I am seeking to learn to be as loving and kind as
He. No one has completely become like Jesus in this world. We are all on the
journey seeking to live His perfection. I know we are in a war, the spiritual
war that is talked about in Ephesians 6:12. We wrestle not against flesh and
blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the
darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Jesus’s
Holy Spirit has helped me through battles of hate, lust, lying, stealing,
cheating, deceit, and drugs. His love has never failed me. He stands with me no
matter what. I can joyfully say that He has given me the Grace to overcome many
sins. Somehow, He has seen fit to use me to share the Gospel with many. Throughout
my life, I have shared the Gospel with many people. If I took a rough estimate, I
believe it would average to 2 people a day for the 48 years I have been serving
Him. If I calculate that, it would come to 35,040 people and multiplied by an
average of 6 brothers and sisters sharing with me this number could be
multiplied by 6. These are people who we shared the Gospel face to face. The
reason I am sharing this is not to boast but to bring to your attention that if
we are faithful to share the Gospel our influence for the Kingdom of God adds
up. If we train others to share the Gospel our influence in this world
multiplies. He is faithful to use our lives, even if we are not perfect. Jesus
is perfect and that's what counts. I acknowledge that Jesus Created the world with
His Father. He came to be the Savior of the world and is the King of Kings. He
has all authority in heaven and on earth. I need Him. I have submitted to His
Lordship over my life. I understand that eternal life "the entrance into
Heaven" is a free gift. When Jesus died on the cross, He removed all sin.
Every human being has a choice to believe in what He has done and allow Him to
take away their sins or not believe and stand before God at judgment without
the cleansing blood of Jesus the Christ. It's a choice. It's your choice. When
someone becomes a believer, they need constant cleansing from defilement
contracted in this pilgrim walk through this fallen world. Titus 3:5 tells us;
not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he
saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit. We
all need this washing of our souls and renewing of the Holy Spirit daily to
keep an open connection with God through His Holy Spirit. Heaven is a
non-returnable gift when someone “truly” receives Jesus as their Savior. The
Holy Spirit's cleansing allows us to live in a pleasing way in our Father's eyes
while we walk in this world. It also allows us to be used on earth to lift His
Glory because others can see Him in us. His Holy Spirit is able to shine through
us. From the beginning of the world, mankind was unable to understand what God
wanted with His creation, so, Jesus came to earth in a human form. Jesus was
totally God and totally man when he walked on this earth. He showed us how God
wants humans to live then made a way for us to walk with God on earth by taking
all sins on the cross fulfilling the prophecy of Psalms 22, which had been
written about 1000 years prior to His birth. He offers to take anyone's sins,
but He has given every human being the choice to humble ourselves and ask Jesus
to take our sins. “Something for you to think about, If someone is not happily
loving Jesus here on earth, they will not be happy living with Him for eternity”.
God does not send anyone to Hell, going to Hell is a choice. This is chosen by
receiving or rejecting God's gift given through Jesus.
