About the author


John P. La Torre is a vocalist, musician, and prolific artist who continually shares his goodness with the world. John has been a musician for over 60 years and 30 years of which, have been professional. He proudly started America's First, Racially Integrated Rock and Roll Band and recently wrote a historical account of it. In his "mature" years, as John likes to describe them, he's been busy writing, blogging, and creating new poetry, and stories to share with the world. John lives in South Jersey where he continues to work on his new endeavors. Be sure to Look for John's latest work on his website, www.johnplatorre.com. There you will be able to get a glimpse of John's story and listen to some great music as well.  When John isn't writing, you can find John enjoying life with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, or dancing at the latest family party! He loves music and he loves a good party !
