About the author
Mims Driscoll defeats Jabberwockies for a living. Creating and nurturing places of safety, recovery, and growth is her passion. Her capacity to see in all people, young and old, amazement; changes those that are around. A gifted and talented spiritual director, Mims began to notice that the modality of yoga and yoga healing, which was moving the body and taking deep breaths, was having a profound affect upon her clients.
Mims became a trauma informed yoga specialist. A teacher with specialties for kids, typical and those that have ADD, ADHD, and are on the Autism spectrum. She then spent a year obtaining more training within the field. Mims has further credentials in Restorative Yoga, Trauma Informed Yoga, Adaptive Yoga (Yoga for those who have Cerebral Palsy, MS, Paralysis, Brain Injury, and other physical conditions that limit mobility) as well as Yoga for Veterans and those who have PTSD.
Mims’ passion has taken her down a road merging together the principals of yoga, the realities of her decades in ministry, and her heart and passion as a mom. Championing ancient practices and principals, she found their strength and aid in crossing lands that were told to her were taboo. It would be hearing a foreign word, that would captivate her senses and propel amazement into being.
