My son is 7 years old, and as he was growing up, his brain was open to complex concepts when broken down. He understands the material and uses the concepts to make decisions. Many young children have watched a video on YouTube, and this book brings business concepts into a story for young readers to learn and engage. They can hear new words, business words, like accounting, culture, and mission, in the context of a story that will make them smile. I believe in the ability of each child to learn, grow, and engage in material that helps them become successful in life. As a lifelong educator with a doctorate degree, I can see the value in every student and know that they have tremendous potential. This book engages early learners with basic concepts that will hopefully have a positive impact on their life. I look forward to our ability to make an impact on future leaders.

ABC's of Business is written by Dr. David Veen. He is a Dad who cares about education and sharing knowledge with future leaders. Dr. Veen has a Doctorate in Business Administration and teaches Business at a local University. He believes that the concepts of business should be available for all, regardless of age, and this book allows him to share his passion of business with students of all ages.

Dr. Veen has a 7 year old son who he shares business adventures with while teaching about decision making, goal setting, and budgets. These are all important concepts, and he hopes that each child and their parents can enjoy special moments together.

His goal for the book is to allow children and parents to share a story together that opens the doors for business stories to be shared. The learning does not have to stop with this book, instead, each parent can share more about their jobs with their child(ren) and make the business concepts in the book come alive. There is also an opportunity for children to ask their parents about their jobs and learn more about business. When Dr. Veen is not working at the University, he is spending time with his family or learning something new.
