About the author
Ta'brielle Roberts is a Baltimore, Maryland native. To escape reality, she got lost in books which drew her to writing. As a way to express her thoughts and feelings, she started writing poetry in sixth grade. She displayed her talent in undergrad by sharing her poetry, which was published in her school's literary and arts magazine three times. After taking a break from writing for a few years, her desire to write came back. Refusing to ignore her desire, she started to get back to writing by blogging short inspirational stories that were derived from how she interpreted simple life experiences. These led her to try fictional short stories that included chapters and characters. Ta'brielle finds inspiration in just about anything, anywhere, at any time. When she is not immersed in writing or lost in a page-turner, she spends time with her husband and her dog. Her favorite quote, one that she has unintentionally lived by, is her own. "You are the most necessary being. Be just as careful with yourself as you are with anyone else." - Ta'brielle Roberts
