The protagonist happens to be the grandfather of the lead character of the title story, A Six-Pack to Go, PI Rollo Michaels. In fact, Rollo appears in the other stories as well. The book ends with a preview of Rollo Michaels: The Last Case because when it's personal, you do what you have to do!
About the author
Kip Meyerhoff, a graduate of Hardknocks U, with the scars to prove it. After two tours in the U.S. Army, he escaped his NY roots to settle in La-La Land to seek fame & fortune by serving 21 years with LAPD. Getting neither, he became a PI and wound up in Witness Protection. Far from L.A., he had a new 20-year career as a restauranteur and has been writing columns for periodicals and newspapers and telling tall tales. A Six-Pack to Go is Kip's 4th book.
