About The Author

Elly is a former Published Interior Designer. She is passionate about standing in faith, praying and encouraging anyone who will listen to trust and believe God for His promises over their lives. No matter the circumstances or situation she believes that prayers work and NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD! After being stricken with an unknown illness for 22 months that almost ended her life, Elly is convinced that no matter what things look like, if you believe God’s Word and pray, you will live to tell your testimony of what God has done in your life too. For Elly, the prayers and intercessions brought forth on her behalf while she was bedridden is a major reason she is alive today. Elly stated, “Like you, I have had my personal challenges in many areas including spiritual, physical, emotional, relational, interpersonal, family, and financial. In my life’s journey to become the person God intends me to be (still in progress), I find joy and fulfillment in helping those that are going through times of uncertainties by praying and interceding on their behalf. It is written, I will not die; instead, I will live to tell what the Lord has done.~Psalm 118:17 This is now the reality of my life. I will not stop declaring it. I do it all for His glory. When I see someone sick, discouraged or facing any kind of challenge, my first thought is to pray for them, so they may gain strength and courage to walk through their difficulties. We don’t always have time to pray long prayers, that is why I decided to share this book. I want the world to know that our prayers do not have to be long for God to listen and answer. They can be short and He will hear us. My hopes are that these short prayers will encourage people to pray more often and share prayers via texting to build up and encourage their loved ones faith.”
