I am a psychotherapist by trade and artist by passion. I have been writing poetry for about 20 years and was inspired by a woman I was living with who brought me to parties filled with musicians, poets and healers. Out of that inspiration I started writing poetry. There many of us in boulder county who are creating our own culture with poetry,music, dance and other artistic ventures. I am proud to be a part of a group of people who refuse to be only audience and are cultivating all kinds of creative expression. We are all artists even those who haven't discovered their own expression of it. This book is dedicated to all of you.I am a hopeless romantic with a mystical bent. i am also a scientist digging nuggets of truth out of my everyday experience. Socrates said " a life unexamined is not worth living" I tend to agree. My poetry is an exploration and enjoyment of my life.
