About the author
Richard Pan (Ričards Pāns) is born in Riga, but grew up in countryside in a caring family of a carpenter and a German/Russian language teacher. Of three children he is the youngest, and already at the age of eighteen he turned to finances in order to understand the magic behind wealth and prosperity. As a result in 2009 at the age of 21 he started his blog, which he called Richman Blog, the Natural Way of Living, in order to educate others in the field of personal finances.
The first book written by Richard was in 2010 and its title was “20 money strategies your teacher forgot to tell you about” which is the predecessor of this title. It was a book where he summarized all the money saving strategies which he used himself and found them to be good enough to help other people save money. Currently Richard is working on other projects some of which are and some of them are not directly connected to gaining financial independence and is sharing this experience with others.
Recently Richard received a master’s degree in education and a qualification in career counseling. He has developed workshops on “Time management”, “Personal finances” and “Career planning”, and has given several speeches on the local and international level. Richard speaks Latvian, English, German and Russian and is open for any kind of co-operational proposals.
