This writing as well as all following are a direct result of both authors' calling [of God] into ministry. Since I [Greg] was called in April of 1977 to "build the body of Christ", this first book is my first direction from God to write "a book". Soon after I was called, I was introduced to a man that I met through my first exposure to a church of any kind to learn what God had created me for. Although it may sound "scriptural", his name was Paul. After 6 1/2 years, he was responsible for my learning how to live Bible-based ONLY. Having said that, both Sue and I have been actively involved in ministry to our veterans for the past five and one-half years as well as our current jewelry business for the aforementioned. After 36-plus years of ministering to people of all walks of life, this first book is an introduction to our calling to "make disciples of all men (mankind) and baptize them in the name of Christ". Sue's contributions as co-author are not just because we are married, they are primarily based on God's instructions. That is obviously why she had to be involved. What is not obvious is how much her background has qualified her for this position based on her life experiences. In full-time management position at a major tax company, fast food distribution, real estate, as well as production assistant for an advertising firm for radio, TV, and movies she has had more than enough exposure to the tough side of key positions. Sue is [as of this writing] enrolled in Rhema Bible School and co-owner of our jewelry company as well. These leadership positions have given her the ability to take her role as co-author to where it is today. There will be more writings to follow as soon as this is in full distribution. Our editor is a doctor of over 30 years that we were joined up with in our ministry to our veterans. His contributions to the veterans as well as thousands of patients and lectures all around the world have put him in the title role as our editor. The three of us combined [just in this book] are what is needed for the church to grow. Take time to read this, study the scriptures and meditate on what you are reading and you will grow just as we are.
