"Baby Hannah's Journey"

The story "Baby Hannah's Journey" answers the age-old question "where do babies come from?" It tells of one baby's journey from Heaven to earth, the creation, the Heavenly preparation, and the family welcome. The sun, the moon, the stars, and the north and south winds are tired of sending all the babies away and want to keep Baby Hannah in Heaven with them. The Mother of all Creation gently explains to them that Baby Hannah must take her love to earth, but like the cycle of a drop of rain she will one day return to where she began.

I am a graduate of the "Institute of Children's Literature," and was an art major in college. I am the author of "Baby Hannah's Journey," an award winning book, "A Devil In The Pines," "A Devil In The Pines II, New Blood," and "I Annie Moore," which I also illustrated. I am the recipient of other literary awards and also awards in art. I have also written a full length musical about the Statue of Liberty entitled "Bartholdi's Lady," and a play about the first female serial killer called "Lady Bluebeard." Both were produced in Twin Falls, Idaho. I have taught children's writing and publishing for the continuing ed. program in the local college in Twin Falls. I have four lovely children: Alison, Nathan, Ryan and of course Hannah.
