About The Author

Born and raised in Ghana by devoted Methodist parents, my early life was shaped by witnessing my parents' loving and peaceful relationship. My dad provided for our family, and my mom managed our home beautifully, showing me firsthand what harmony and teamwork look like. My journey in education started at Oda Secondary School (1966–1971), where I personally decided to follow Jesus Christ. Inspired by a passion for teaching and understanding people, I attended Wesley College in Kumasi (1972–1974), earning a Teacher's Certificate. Later, I pursued music education at the National Academy of Music affiliated with Cape Coast University (1976–1980), receiving a Diploma in Music Education. Driven by a desire to deepen my understanding of faith and counseling, I moved to the United States to study at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey, where I earned my Master of Divinity degree (2005–2008). My studies there included pastoral counseling, helping me better understand family and marriage relationships. For over sixteen years, I've combined teaching, ministry, and counseling in my pastoral career, serving congregations at Madison UMC, Mount Calvary UMC, John Wesley UMC in Brooklyn, and currently at Freeport UMC in New York. My ministry often focuses on marital counseling, drawing from my education in child psychology and human behavior to help couples build peaceful, lasting relationships. I've been happily married for 21 years. While my wife and I don't have children, my extensive experience observing and counseling couples has equipped me with practical, empathetic tools for helping marriages flourish. I am deeply committed to supporting couples on their journey toward peaceful, joyful partnerships.
