Akili Amina lives with her partner Del in Charlotte, NC. She is an advocate for Education and holds a Master of Arts in English Creative Writing with a Concentration in Poetry. Her award-winning poetry has been published in anthologies and literary magazines over the years. She is a Person with Disabilities, or PWD, who has schizoaffective bipolar disorder with paranoia. However, she is also adamant and passionate about the art of words and literature.
