Laurie Powers is an author and illustrator who focuses on her relationship with Jesus Christ. Her first book, "What Once Was Hidden" was written directly from years of her personal journals. Her second book, "God Doodles" is filled with biblical illustrations that were created from a bible study she participates in five days a week. Laurie loves visual learning, whether through descriptive illustrations or words. She has been married for 38 years, has two sons and eight grandchildren.
