About The Author

Born in Atlanta, Ga, I grew up with books around me all the time, but I never expected to write one myself. This is not a book that was written with the intent of making money. This was, has always been, and I hope will continue to be, a story I wrote because it was a story that I felt needed to be told. Whether a book makes money or not is secondary. What matters most, to me, is whether the author had fun writing it– whether they put their very being into the story or not. As long as an author can look at their finished work and feel a sense of pride in it, then it was a job well done. And if someone picks up the book and reads it, and the words speak to them and encourage them and give them the drive to focus on a goal in their own lives and achieve it, or simply makes them feel better... then isn't that really the whole point? Making money is a nice bonus... but telling a good story is a reward all on its own.
