Author Info

Teilo Baldwin earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Alcorn State University, an HBCU, and a Master of Science in Education through Walden University. She has been a classroom teacher for over 15 years. As such, her love for collecting children's books and reading aloud to captive audiences only grew over the years and provoked her interest in writing a book of her own. She has taught in many places throughout the United States as well as in the Middle East. This past year, while teaching in remote Bush Alaska, her first self-published book came to life with the help of an illustrator and formatter despite their distances. Love of her family, whimsical and silly adventure, and the desire for more African-American representation in children's literature keep her inspired to publish more titles in the near future.
